World knowledge
Aethera Mythos Available
Mythos is the suite knowledge layer for worlds, campaign lore, sessions, maps, timelines, quests, transcripts, and reviewed Scribe suggestions. It runs in your browser. For the desktop map editor, see the Atlas documentation. You can publish a finished Atlas map to a Mythos world.
Overview
Create a Mythos world, optionally link it to a VTT world, invite collaborators, and build entries, maps, timelines, quests, sessions, transcripts, and Scribe review queues using your existing Aethera account.
Visibility
Mythos filters entries and individual content blocks on the server. Public, player, member, editor, GM, and owner scopes are intersected with the parent world and resource visibility so hidden text is not sent in response payloads.
Scribe
You can import transcripts without using AI. Scribe availability depends on the service and its provider; check the job queue for waiting, processing, failed, or review-ready work. Review generated suggestions before applying them to your world. A queued job does not promise a result or a completion time.
Portability
Mythos exports retain the legacy schema identifier aethera-atlas.export.v1 for file
compatibility. Atlas desktop projects use .atlas; those are a different file type. Mythos
exports include only content you are authorized to access. Imports validate the schema and preserve core
lore structure while creating an editor-only external-reference review queue. Imported world, entry, and
map media, top-level custom-field media/video references, structured block media/video/VTT scene
references, entry/session/timeline video timestamps, transcript source media, and imported map-pin VTT
scene references can be reconnected from the queue through a Mythos dialog that lists access-checked
Mythos-owned uploads, Aethera videos, linked VTT scenes, and linked VTT entities before Mythos validates
the replacement media URL, video ID, VTT scene, or VTT entity. Standalone Mythos worlds can upload PNG,
JPG, or WEBP media from the dashboard and reuse the authorized Mythos asset URL for covers, map images,
and import reconnects.
