Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for Aethera.TV subscriptions and digital services, including Aethera VTT plans.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Default policy

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled.
  • All sales are final. Charges are non-refundable and non-prorated by default.
  • No credits or refunds are provided for partial billing periods or post-renewal cancellations.
  • Exceptions apply only where refunds are required by applicable law.
  • The standalone Atlas Pro exception below applies to Atlas Pro subscription charges.

Atlas Pro subscriptions

Atlas Pro is included with active Aethera Premium. When standalone checkout is enabled, it is offered for $3.99/month or $40.70/year; the pricing page shows current availability. New eligible standalone subscriptions receive a 7-day payment-backed trial and may be canceled before renewal without a subscription charge.

A standalone Atlas Pro refund request may be submitted within seven days after a charge. Additional rights required by applicable law always remain available. Submit only the non-secret receipt or invoice reference; never send card details or credentials.

Exchange digital-goods requests

Engineering draft candidate · Unapproved policy candidate · No effective date · This section is not approved for production use and does not authorize paid Exchange commerce. Owner approval and qualified legal, tax, finance, trust, security, and product reviews remain pending.

  • One-time Exchange sales and membership charges are final, non-refundable, and non-prorated by default. There is no guaranteed discretionary request window.
  • Aethera preserves any refund or cancellation right required by law or a payment provider. Aethera or the seller may also consider unusual circumstances case by case, including a scam or fraud, duplicate or unauthorized charge, non-delivery, malware or rights removal, or materially defective, misdescribed, or incompatible content. Listing a reason does not promise approval.
  • A signed-in buyer can open My Library, use Purchase history, and submit a request for the seller-specific Exchange order. The request can identify eligible order lines and a reason.
  • A request begins the private Exchange workflow; it is not an automatic approval, denial, refund, or promise of a review time. The seller can respond or decide within Marketplace Studio, and an authorized administrator has a separate escalation and decision path.
  • Download or installation history may inform review but does not, by itself, automatically disqualify a legitimate request. Applicable law and the approved transaction terms would control eligibility.
  • An approved full or partial refund uses the original platform destination charge and the immutable order-line allocations for pretax price, tax, Aethera fee, and creator proceeds.
  • Fully refunded lines lose their Exchange entitlement after verified provider evidence. Unaffected lines remain available. The affected license ends, the buyer must stop future use and distribution and delete controllable raw copies, and Aethera may stop cloud downloads or installation. Aethera does not remotely erase a file already downloaded to a buyer's device.

Exchange creator memberships

Creator memberships are billed in advance and renew for the disclosed interval until canceled. A buyer can cancel online, effective at the end of the current paid term, and should receive retainable confirmation. No refund or credit is provided for the remaining term by default. Trial conversion, annual renewal, price-change, and membership-content rules are described in the unapproved Creator Membership Terms Candidate.

Discretionary courtesy review

  • We may, at our sole discretion, issue a one-time courtesy refund.
  • Outside an expressly stated product window or a right required by law, courtesy reviews are not guaranteed and do not create ongoing access or a precedent.
  • For eligible requests, refunds are returned to the original payment method.

How to request a refund

For an Exchange order, use the request action in My Library purchase history so the request stays bound to the correct seller-specific order. The same view shows the private request conversation and any information request. For a first-party billing issue or when the authenticated path is unavailable, email Loading support email and include the account email and a non-secret receipt or transaction reference. Do not send payment-card details.
