Find your way around

The map area is the canvas. The left Tool palette chooses how the pointer behaves. The right Panels area contains directories such as Scenes, Actors, and Journal. Some panels are inside Library panels; the visible tabs can change between Prepare and Run workspaces.

• Use Prepare while building your session. It brings preparation panels into view.
• Use the Scenes panel to create and manage locations.
• Use Actors for characters; Journal for written notes and handouts.
• If the map seems lost, use Fit in the zoom controls to bring the scene back into view.
• Click a tool and read its tooltip before dragging on the canvas. Selecting something and drawing something use different tools.
• Wait for the header to say Saved before a reload or before leaving the world.
